Arrange a pair of scissors on top of a white piece of paper. Draw the scissors to scale in your sketchbook as demonstrated in the video.
The goal of learning to “see” and record negative space is to improve your drawing skills of three-dimensional objects in the real world. Perception of negative space will improve the accuracy of your drawings.

On the "positive + negative space" page of your sketchbook, write a brief summary of your understanding of the relationship of positive and negative space and how perceiving and drawing negative space helps improve you'r drawing.
